El Mató a un Policía Motorizado - Amigo Piedra

A solo 48 horas de partir con amigos hacia las más lejanas y por mi desconocidas costas uruguayas en un viaje que durará 10 días, no podía subir otro tema que no fuera Amigo Piedra, el track 2 de Un Millón de Euros, el hit del verano, que habla, justamente, de viajes, de amigos, de lugares desconocidos, de las ganas de conocerlos, del entusiasmo juvenil por lo que vendrá, pero también de la melancolía y de los buenos recuerdos. Todo eso contenido en un estribillo que una vez que se pega no se sale con el agua, y que dice “Amigo Piedra necesito que / me ayudes con mi auto otra vez / para viajar a ese lugar nuevo”, tres partes bien definidas, cada una de ellas introduciendo un concepto distinto (amistad / nostalgia / entusiasmo) que cuando se juntan se transforman en una definición clara y contundente de lo que uno siente cuando se acercan el verano y las vacaciones.

Lo que hace más redondo aún al estribillo de Amigo Piedra es la forma en que Santiago Motorizado grabó las voces de acuerdo a esos tres conceptos: hay dos voces cantando al mismo tiempo (amistad), una de fondo, grave, apagada (nostalgia), y otra bien arriba, forzada, queriendo llegar a lugares imposibles (entusiasmo). Y lo mejor de todo es que aún siendo imposible, ellos van igual. ¿Por qué? Porque en definitiva, lo que realmente importa es el viaje.
