“Colchones de fe” es el disco que acaba de lanzar el trío de freerock D.I.Y. Comme. Este nuevo trabajo continúa en la veta de los anteriores, pero en esta oportunidad abandona un poco la calma para abordar un sonido más potente, más explosivo, que parece instalarse entre Hovercraft y Goodspeed you black emperor!, sin perder el clima de introspección y melancolía que los caracteriza.
Los Comme están en el circuito emergente desde hace más de 10 años. Vienen manteniendo una propuesta creativa experimental cuya estética sonora se acerca al noise y al low fi. Utilizan instrumentos viejos y de baja calidad: sintetizadores vintage, casiotone, la antigua groovebox 303, que le aportan matices sonoros propios, personalidad y espíritu punk.
El disco contiene temas largos, oscuros, poco melódicos, opresivos, generados a través de herramientas variadas: distorsión-saturación, riffs pesados, repetición hipnótica. Se destacan el track 1, “Intervenzionn divina”, cercano por momentos a Tortoise, post rock con toques noise, el tema 4, “3 Zen calma”, que presenta un sonido etéreo más asimilable a canciones de sus discos anteriores (“El toro”) pero con un aire melancólico comparable a Mogwai en “Rock action”, y el track 7, “My montonero”, progresión instrumental de más de 17 minutos de duración con muchos cambios de ritmo, comparable con el kraut rock de Neu! o Ammon Dûûl.
Un disco interesante, con un ímpetu de inconformismo y rebelión que queda expuesto ya desde su nombre.
