Enrique Symns es uno de los más grandes escritores que supieron habitar y retratar los márgenes de la sociedad argentina a lo largo de más de 40 años. Con su inigualable prosa y su sinceridad brutal, fue cultor de un periodismo crudo y ácido, libre de los eternos formalismos que ensucian y enmascaran el ejercicio de una profesión.

        Fue redactor de los diarios La voz y Sur, colaborador especial del diario Clarín, prosecretario de redacción de Satiricón, jefe de redacción de El Porteño y fundador de la revista chilena The Clinic. En 1983 creó y dirigió por varios años Cerdos y peces, una de las revistas más míticas de la historia argentina, cuya impronta contracultural e innovadora fue difícilmente superada por otros medios.

        Fue monologuista y presentador de los shows de Los Redonditos de Ricota, Los Piojos, Bersuit Vergarabat y Los Caballeros de la Quema, entre otras bandas. Es autor de los libros "La banda de los chacales" (1987), "Invitación al abismo" (1995), "Paez" (1996), "La última canción" (2003), "El señor de los venenos" (2004), "En busca del asesino" (2005), “Big bad city” (2006) y "La vida es un bar" (2008). En la actualidad se desempeña como colaborador especial de la revista THC, columnista del matutino Crítica de la Argentina y del programa radial Falso impostor (FM Rock & Pop).
