Steel Pulse nuevamente en Buenos Aires

Steel Pulse, la legendaria Banda de Reggae del Reino Unido, viene por segunda  vez a la Argentina, y se presentará en el Luna Park el día 5 de Marzo, a las 21 hs.

Steel Pulse es considerado como uno de los mejores grupos de Reggae del mundo y se ha caracterizado por sus mensajes de paz, justicia, y optimismo, en un clima  de "vibraciones positivas" (positive vibration).

El  trío británico que comenzara allá por el 75, se conoció en el colegio – Handsworth Wood Boys School , Birmingham.  En sus comienzos, atravesaron varios estilos musicales. Fueron contemporáneos al nacimiento del  punk británico, pero luego en oposición a la desesperanza del punk, buscaron su propio camino, atravesando el blue beat, jazz, ska y rock steady, lo que luego devino en roots rock reggae.

Su visita anterior fue en noviembre del 2005 en el Estadio Obras.

Tienen 19 discos en su haber. Grabaron el primero en el año 78, titulado   Handsworth Revolution. Ganaron su primer Grammy por su trabajo Babylon The Bandit y varias nominaciones por  Earth Crisis, Victims, Rastanthology, Rage and Fury, y su último disco African Holocust.


Los músicos que nos visitarán en esta oportunidad son: David Hinds en guitarra y voz principal; Basil Gabbidon con la guitarra principal y coros, Ronnie Mc Queen  en el bajo, acompañados por: Clifford 'Moonie' Pusey en guitarra, Alvin Ewen en bajo, Sidney Mills en teclados, Conrad Kelly con tambores y percusión, Sylvia Tella y Donna Sterling en coros.
